Midday Assistant

Role: Midday Assistant

Location: Halton Lodge Primary School

Salary: Grade 2 SCP 2

Actual Salary Pro-Rata: £3,794.69 (FTE: £22,366)

Contract: Temporary (to cover a maternity leave – for a minimum of 6 months)

Hours: 7.5 per week, lunchtimes (38 weeks per year, term time)

The governors of Halton Lodge Primary School would like to appoint a Midday Assistant to join our committed and enthusiastic team. This position is to commence as soon as possible and will be temporary, as it is to provide cover for an employee who is about to go on maternity leave. However, this position may be become permanent if, during the course of the employment, a MDA vacancy comes available.

As always, we are looking for a friendly, caring person with plenty of energy who can join our hardworking team in helping to make lunchtimes safe, fun and happy for our children.

The successful candidate will:

 Ensure the safety and well-being of pupils during lunchtime;

 Arrange and support age – appropriate activities during lunchtime, including indoor activities when the weather prevents children playing outside;

 Be responsible and motivated.
